A Master Pedicurist is a state-licensed Nail Technician who has completed advanced training in techniques to trim toenails and reduce calluses and nail thickness.

Each one of our Master Pedicurists is educated in how to perform cosmetic pedicures safely on clients who are chronically ill. They also know how to recognize “out-of-normal” nails for referrals to podiatrists!

Our Master Pedicurists have taken intense courses that focus on skin and bones. This extensive training allows them to identify chronically ill clients’ needs along with simple skin care. Each Master Pedicurist also has relationships with Podiatrists, Dermatologists, and Physicians and fulfilled specific skills requirements during this time. A Master Pedicurist also has extensive training in the cleaning, sanitation, and sterilization of tools.

Toenail Restoration is a cosmetic toenail correction that restores damaged, missing, or fungal toenails.

No, all the services performed by the Master Pedicurist are cosmetic and are not covered under insurance.
If you have a more serious foot condition that needs the care of the Podiatrist, it may qualify under your insurance.

The Global manicurist conducts a thorough review by asking a series of questions.

The questions may cover symptoms, general condition or feeling of the potential client, any health related concerns, and the results of previous services. Also, you will be able to gain knowledge on what services will be provided with product knowledge.

A Master Pedicurist was first licensed as a nail technician, so she can meet your basic pedicure needs.

A Master Pedicurist is a highly skilled and trained nail technician that can assess your feet for potential problems, identify any visible issues, and recommend a reliable course of action for treating the issue. A Master Pedicurist merges the medical field with the beauty field to give you a healthy and safe, but pampered experience. In addition, a Master Pedicurist uses medical-grade products that produce results and medical-grade tools to keep you safe.

A medical pedicure is for anyone under treatment by a doctor for any type of foot or health condition.

Example 1:  If you are receiving treatment for athlete’s feet or toenail fungus, during your medical pedicure we would incorporate your treatment in the service, along with our medical-grade products to provide a pampering pedicure experience. We also assess the progress of your treatment to make sure it is working and no other conditions are developing at the time.

Note: If you suspect you have toenail fungus or athlete’s feet, or your New Client

Information Form indicates you may have a foot issue, it is required that you have a Doctors Consult with our Doctor or provide a doctor’s statement from your personal doctor that you have been seen and/or treated for your condition.

Example 2:  If you are suffering from any other health conditions that require us to alter our normal pedicure procedures, we can work with your doctor to customize a pedicure to meet your needs.

Note: If you have had a cancer diagnosis (past or present) you are considered a medical pedicure because we use different products for your service. These are products that reduce your exposure to toxic chemicals. For instance, we will use a polish that is fast drying, hypo-allergenic, and non-toxic.

The Global Manicurist is not your typical nail spa, we use medical-grade equipment and products and we take our time in giving you the care you need to make your visit an enjoyable experience. We go by appointment only so we can properly prepare for your visit and give you the best treatment and experience. Your Health and Safety come First!

The Global Manicurist is connected to a host of Medical Practitioners and has access to medical-grade products that are not available in stores or online without a Medical License.

With our Master Pedicurist certification, we are trained to recognize potential foot issues and use medical-grade products that will assist in bringing your feet back to good health, while making them look and feel good. We also adhere to a higher level of sterilization and sanitation than other salons.

Our first goal as a wellness spa is to maintain a clean and sterile environment for the safety of our clients.

This helps us to avoid any cross-contamination and spreading of bacteria. To ensure a sterile treatment, fresh warm steam towels and fully sterilized equipment are used on our clients.

A dry pedicure, even without the foot spa, can be a luxurious and relaxing experience. With a cleaner reputation and better health benefits, a dry pedicure keeps your feet happy and your toenails perfect.

The best option for diabetics and clients who have had a Cancer Diagnosis: Diabetic and Cancer patients have compromised immune systems that are particularly vulnerable to infection. Therefore, soaking feet in a tub of water could dry out the skin of the feet and cause cracking, which might lead to infection. A dry pedicure skips the foot soaking, making it the safer go-to choice for every diabetic and cancer patient. Simply put, a traditional water pedicure differs from a dry pedicure. The main difference is the use of a foot spa for soaking in water. Water is dehydrating the skin if and when the skin is over-exposed to water. Waterless pedicures will provide hydration with product usage throughout the service. It will leave your feet feeling soft, moisturized, smooth, and light. The results will leave you amazed.

We service clients with toenail fungus, athletes’ feet, itching, peeling, thick & long toenails, dry skin, calluses, ingrown toenails with no infection, and tired feet that just want to be pampered.

Yes! Our Spa or Signature Wellness Waterless Pedicure is perfect for you. We provide a safe and clean environment for you to enjoy your pedicure experience. All of our sanitation procedures exceed state standards to ensure your safety.

At The Global Manicurist, we only use the highest grade equipment for your safety. The Angel feet file allows us to safely remove dead skin without causing any damage. We also have a travel size available for home use so you can maintain your foot care between pedicures. Watch this video on the Angel feet file.
